New student fall orientation

Mark your calendar for August 23-27, 2025! 

We are excited that you've chosen Ë®¹ûÅÉAV½â˵for your college experience, and new student orientation is designed to help you feel ready for the academic year ahead. New Student Orientation is designed to create a seamless transition for all new students to Ë®¹ûÅÉAV½â˵ College. The term "new student" applies to all students beginning their Ë®¹ûÅÉAV½â˵ career in any given semester.

The best way to get to know your new campus community is to jump in and start exploring for yourself. Ë®¹ûÅÉAV½â˵’s new student programs help you start connecting to your new home and provide you with the information you need as you begin your college adventure.

All first-year, transfer, and exchange students are required to attend new student orientation. Students have the chance to interact and connect with faculty, staff, and students; obtain departmental information related to potential majors; take certain placement tests or audition; and learn about student life opportunities. If you are involved in another experience during the program (e.g., athletics preseason, etc.) your instructor and/or coach are aware.
