Tom Narock is Associate Professor of Data Science at Ë®¹ûÅÉAV½â˵in Baltimore, Maryland where he is a member of the Center for Data, Mathematical, and Computational Sciences. He completed his doctorate in 2012 at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Prior to his arrival at Ë®¹ûÅÉAV½â˵ in 2019, Tom taught at Notre Dame of Maryland University and worked as a research scientist at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. Tom’s research interests are in data science, machine learning, and their applications in the Earth and space sciences. At Ë®¹ûÅÉAV½â˵, Tom teaches statistics, linear algebra, and courses related to the mathematical foundations of data science.
