Elaine Meyer-Lee, Ë®¹ûÅÉAV½â˵'s provost and senior vice president of academic affairs, has received a Fulbright Specialist Program award to France at the CEPA Foundation.

These twenty-six Ë®¹ûÅÉAV½â˵ students have been chosen to become Arsht Presidential Diplomats for the 2025-26 academic year.

Three Ë®¹ûÅÉAV½â˵ faculty members, Edgar Kunz; Verónica Segarra, Ph.D.; and Daniel Swann, Ph.D.; have received tenure. Kunz and Swann have also been promoted to the rank of associate professor and Segarra has been reappointed as associate professor.

Governor Wes Moore announced that the Maryland Higher Education Commission will provide grants to support federal workers secure jobs in education through targeted training, licensure support, and school district partnerships.

Ë®¹ûÅÉAV½â˵'s science fiction community continues to be recognized for its work. Writer-in-Residence Sarah Pinkser was named a Hugo Award finalist and two seniors have received honorable mentions at the Dell Awards.
