This spring, Provost Elaine Meyer-Lee announced three faculty projects that would be funded by the Broad, Humane Perspective mini-grants. The projects focus on environmental humanities, STEMM trailblazers, and linguistic justice.

Ë®¹ûÅÉAV½â˵is proud to announce four Ë®¹ûÅÉAV½â˵ professors have received tenure. Working in data science, neuroscience, and writing, these assistant professors represent the college’s strategic investment in exceptional and student-centered faculty.

Playwright, actor, educator, and Baltimore native Anna Deavere Smith will deliver the keynote address at Ë®¹ûÅÉAV½â˵ College's Class of 2023 Commencement ceremony. In addition, Adrienne Arsht, business leader and impact philanthropist, will receive an honorary degree.

Justin Smith, Ed.D., will join Ë®¹ûÅÉAV½â˵ as the new associate vice president for student well-being and dean of students.

Jack Topper ’23 interned at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, where he worked on a neural network that predicts flux ropes caused by the sun’s eruptions.
