Health Insurance Requirement
All full-time undergraduate, post-bac premedical, international graduate, and graduate assistant students are required to have health insurance. Ë®¹ûÅÉAV½â˵ automatically charges students for coverage each semester. By submitting proof of health insurance, you may waive Ë®¹ûÅÉAV½â˵’s plan and remove the charge.
Ë®¹ûÅÉAV½â˵ is waiting on the final approval of the Student Health Insurance plan by the
State of Maryland. We expect the approval very soon. Please check back in the next
week or so to Waive or Opt-in to the plan using the United Healthcare student portal.
Every student must waive or opt-in.

To enroll in or waive coverage (by submitting proof), visit the and submit your selection. Ë®¹ûÅÉAV½â˵’s student health insurance plan is administered by United Healthcare through First Risk Advisors.
Undergraduate 2026-2027 (Fall 2026, Spring 2027) mandatory waive or enroll deadline:

A $250 per term Administrative fee will be charged to those that enroll in the Student Health Insurance plan.

Health Insurance Billing
The health insurance premium is split between semesters. Half is charged in the fall, and the second half is charged in the spring.
Important: If a student is no longer enrolled in the spring, the second half of the premium
will still be charged to their account.
