Teach for GPEP
The Ë®¹ûÅÉAV½â˵ Prison Education Partnership is made up of partners. We welcome you to join us as a partner in this important work!
College Courses
Each semester, GPEP enrolls an average of 130 students in college classes. Students are held to the rigorous academic standards for which Ë®¹ûÅÉAV½â˵ is known. Courses offered meet the requirements for the Ë®¹ûÅÉAV½â˵B.A. in American Studies. GPEP’s college courses are taught primarily by faculty from Ë®¹ûÅÉAV½â˵ College, along with faculty from other local colleges and universities.
College Preparatory Courses
For students admitted to GPEP who are not yet ready for the academic rigor of college courses, we offer college preparatory classes in math and writing before they begin their college coursework. Our college preparatory classes are taught both by college professors and secondary instructors skilled in leading college preparatory English and math courses.
